Miele x Mode Suisse Award for Positive Impact 2024
In alignment with the United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals, the MIELE X MODE SUISSE AWARD FOR POSITIVE IMPACT annually honors an outstanding design talent that sets positive impulses in the fashion industry. This year's winner of the award is maison blanche.
Yannik Zamboni's consistent commitment to sustainability convinced the jury. The clear intention, and vision of his label, maison blanche, is reflected in the traceability of his production and materials. The experts also emphasised Zamboni's commitment to respectful working conditions, fair wage structures and ethical responsibility.
As the winner of the 3rd Miele x Mode Suisse Award for Positive Impact, the participation costs for Mode Suisse & Friends will be covered by Miele and Mode Suisse. Yannik Zamboni will also benefit from a substantial financial reward including a mandatory commission for a sustainable piece. The finished design will be unveiled at Mode Suisse & Friends and then sold and auctioned to benefit a sustainable/social project, yet to be defined.
